Dear Parents and Caregivers, It has been an extremely positive and productive first six weeks back in school. We seem to be in top gear now and the school is full of activity. Walking through school I have seen lots of smiles and learning happening. Learners have been particularly engaged in topic lessons where we
Quest School is inviting new members to join the Parent Teacher Association (PTA) for the 2023-2024 academic year. The PTA was established in 2022 and the school would like to continue to develop and extend their excellent work. It is envisaged that the PTA will provide an open forum to parents and caregivers to contribute ideas for initiatives that will benefit the whole school community.
Dear Parents and Caregivers,
I hope your children have enjoyed the first week back at school! I certainly enjoyed my first week walking around classes seeing
happy faces and how excited learners are to be back at QSB. It has been wonderful finding out about adventures that families went on over the summer period and getting to know more about new learners that have joined the school. I was thrilled to see how excited everyone is with all the changes that happened at school over the break. The new library and DT room are already a hit amongst learners! I cannot wait to see what goodies come from the cooking room in the weeks to come.
A warm and happy welcome back to the start of school! I hope you had an enjoyable summer, and your children are excited to start the new academic year. Welcome back to all our returning families and a special welcome to all those families joining QSB for the first time. The Quest team and I are now all back getting everything ready for the first days of school. I look forward to seeing familiar faces and meeting new families in the weeks to come. I wanted to bring to your attention several items as we get closer to the start of the 2023-2024 school year.
Dear Parents and Caregivers,
Many parents have approached me over the past few weeks and have requested that school finishes on Thursday, June 22nd. Now that Arafat Day has been announced as falling on Tuesday, June 27th, our end of year closure date needs to be adjusted to accommodate the public holiday. You will have also seen from the school communication that went out last week that due to major renovations happening at the school over the summer period, staff need time to pack classrooms and move before the end of the year. Given these reasons the school has decided that the last day for all Learners will now be Thursday, June 22nd with the format for the remainder of the week as follows:
As we approach the end of Term 3 the school would like to provide some important information related to key dates and timings over the coming days. After School Activities After School Activities have now come to an end. There will be no more after school activities from next week. School will finish at 1.15pm
We asked our learners what they think of Quest School, here’s what they had to say!
